The Fullness of Time

This sound is what everybody is looking for. It’s what we must look for. When there’s been silence, you must hear the voice of God. In fullness, there’s a voice that breaks the silence. We need to be so excited about it. We’re ready to birth, and we’re listening. Can there be a prophet? Can there be a Word from Heaven? God’s been quiet all this time… Now, I need to hear.

Malachi is the last book of the Old Testament. There were four hundred years of silence after Malachi. Then, in Luke 2, the angels begin to announce it. The shepherds are on the side of a hill, and the announcement is made in the heavenlies. Glory to God in the highest! Can you believe that for four hundred years God hasn’t talked? And, He decides to talk to a bunch of shepherds on the side of a Bethlehem hill. When God is talking, He will always first speak corporately to his shepherds. Don’t you know that when Lucifer heard Jesus talk, he knew that voice? It bothered him. Look what happened. Remember Elizabeth’s time, in Luke 1:57-65? It says that in the fullness of time she gave birth to a son. He isn’t named yet and they think he’s going to be called Zachariah. But, she says he’s going to be called John. She had gotten a word from the Lord. Zachariah’s mouth was opened and he began to speak. He praised God and began to prophesy. Out of silence comes the Word of the Lord.

Every time in your life, when God’s been the quietest, is when He’s about ready to speak. But, because you prematurely run and give birth to your own voice, you never get to hear the voice of God. If you’ll stand still and say, “I want to give birth. I’m going to wait till the fullness of time…” When you do that, all of Heaven is going to hear, because God is going to talk.
