There’s a Sound Blowing in the Top of the Mulberry Trees

It says in John 15:6, “If a person does not dwell in me he is thrown out like a [broken-off] branch, and withers; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and they are burned.” That means they’re totally destroyed. Remember, He said, “Whatever you do, you only can do it if you stay in me.” Now, he’s talking about abiding, dwelling, living and having his being in God.

Today, Christianity has been able to segregate everything. What we’ve done is, we’ve segregated God from us. God never meant for it to be that way. God wanted to come in you, not be with you. Not walk along beside you. Not just be there when you have an emergency. Not be your 911 call. God wanted to live in you. That’s a whole lot more!

“If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.”

Would you like to see more of your prayers answered? I can tell you, this is a key to increasing the answers to your prayers. God doesn’t answer all your prayers because some of them are selfish. And, some of them you’re glad He didn’t answer!  But, he does answer prayers! He’ll answer the prayer of the righteous and of those who are abiding in Him. Look… My kids can come to me and say, “Dad, I need a hundred dollars.” If I have it, they’ve got it. But, your kids can’t come and ask me that because they don’t live in my house. They don’t abide with me. There’s a difference in just being around God and being in God. Many of you are just satisfied to be around God and have godly things around you and a godly atmosphere happening. But, you’re still too afraid and selfish to enter in.
