To our celebration of three things: biblical, historical, and reality; all these practices are for our day to walk in the fullness of God. All the practices of the Bible, like baptism and filling with the Holy Spirit, are important for us to understand. It helps us walk in the fullness of God. All the promises of God are “Yeah and amen”. All the practices of God are very important for us to realize. Colossians says that you’re baptized and you bury the old man and you rise up and walk in newness of life. Just like Jesus died and was buried and rose from the dead, so shall you through the waters of baptism.

We find water baptism all the way back when the Israelites left Egypt. They went through the Red Sea and that was their baptism. The old man and the old things were left because they stopped worshiping in Egypt, where they had to worship the gods of Egypt. Then, they went into the Promised Land and they began to worship the Lord.

All of these things are types and shadows. That which was a shadow or a type has become to us the reality of restoring the influence of the Kingdom of Heaven here on the earth. So, what happens now is… We have communion with Abraham and Melchizedek, the High Priest, the King of Salem. We have that experience. We have the experience of Israel coming out of Egypt and all they had to do by shedding blood and putting it on the doorposts with hyssop. They put it on the doorway, the two sides and the top. That’s the three kinds of sin. You have the sin, which all of us are sinners. Then, we have transgression which is the sin you do deliberately. And then on the other side of the door, there’s iniquity.  Iniquity is that which you do, not because you want to, but because it was transferred by blood down to you from another family member. And that bloodline has caused you to do what you didn’t want to do, but it came through them to you.

There’s always a remedy. The remedy of all of those sins is the blood. The blood of Jesus!
