We’re going to talk about this a little bit. I want you to come with me because I have to build it a little bit so some of you who don’t come on Thursday nights and some of you who are here on Sundays, but you’re not really here… I want you to get here! We can’t improve on God’s plan that He set up for mankind. There’s no addition that can make it better. There are certain things that God has done that you and I just need to accept. We can’t fix it.

Let’s look at Isaiah 55:8-9 in the New Living Bible. We’ll look at this so I can build things properly. When I’m teaching something, I’m a little more methodical and I slow down to make sure these references are clear.  When I’m preaching I just kind of throw it and hope it sticks to you!

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts.” Can you imagine? I know this is hard for some of you to comprehend, that nothing God thinks is like how you think. He’s never had a man thought. I’ll show you how low that is to Him. “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could even imagine.” So, everything…

Hold out your hand. This is your little miniature trashcan. Everything that you’ve ever thought that you knew about the ways of God… Dispose of them! Because, He said, “You can’t even imagine.” We’re serving an unknown God. We’re serving a God who doesn’t think like us. And, we’re serving a God whose ways you and I can’t even imagine. We can’t imagine what that way is like.  That’s pretty profound!
