Verse 26 says, in response to the unknown god, “God is a God who wants to be known by a people.” We live in a day on the earth where we have people around us in every corridor that don’t know Him. They talk of Him and they talk against Him but they don’t know Him. So, Paul was defining that.

Now, I want to read verse 26 in the ESV,  “And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place.”  I don’t care where you go. You can go back to chase your roots on one of those programs where you can find out your heritage. But, I’ll tell you what it will do. It will take you back. We all came from Adam. All have sinned. And, that should blow up all our little divisions that make us want to identify with our tribe and reject every other tribe. You’re rejecting your brother. You’re rejecting your sister, and people who are really yours.

It says, “He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods.” I read to you before “allotted times”. Times often get lost in biblical understanding because we realize that a lot of the Bible is not based on a chronos, that thing on your wrist, but is based on kairos, which is a bigger clock of eternal time by the Creator. I want you to see that He also has determined allotted periods. Every one of us has an allotted period of time. We have been given it.

The Godhead, the trinity of God, is referred to as a circle. When they’re together and converging on the dialogue of Heaven, it becomes a circle. It becomes a swirl, a dance, and a rotation, and everything God made is moving. The earth is spinning and the revolution goes around. We talked about the revolutions that the sun and the orbits of the planets make around the sun. Everything God made is in a turn. Space moving, the sun and planets are moving, the earth and stars and everything God created is moving. Man is supposed to be moving, and when man isn’t, he’s dead. Plants and animals move. The earth is shaking. It moves. So, God is a God of moves. He has determined allotted periods of time for every one of us.
