Adopt A Block
Adopt-A-Block, Inc (AAB)

Adopt-A-Block (AAB) is a collaborative initiative uniting local churches, city government, law enforcement, community services, and businesses to restore inner cities one block at a time. By “adopting” city blocks and their residents, AAB provides essential services such as food, clothing, job placement, housing improvements, education, drug counseling, and youth programs, all while offering personal care and spiritual support through local churches. AAB believes that true, lasting restoration must address the whole person—body, soul, and spirit—and asserts that the church, empowered by the full Gospel, plays a vital role in this transformation. Their strategy involves systematically restoring city blocks through partnerships, beginning with one area and expanding until entire neighborhoods are renewed, creating unified communities filled with hope and purpose.
