Touch Me Again: Episode 1 – June 30, 2019
In this message by Pastor Patrick Kiteley, we’re admonished to hunger for God to touch and visit us again. Just because you’re in church doesn’t mean that you’re in the Presence of God.
The Presence of God is a necessity. The Gospel of Mark is The Action Gospel. The Holy Spirit is a Comforter but The Comforter also knows how to discomfort and disrupt. God has a will but our human will can override God’s will.
Pastor Patrick also expands on the miracle from Mark 8 and shows the significance of Jesus spitting. Jesus wasn’t spitting on the man, He was spitting on the blindness. The first touch was a touch of power, the second was a touch of focus. We can’t just be satisfied with the power. The power is good, but there’s so much more.
